Pupils at Croesyceiliog School had a PE lesson from Team GB Olympian Joe Brier on Monday. The Welsh athlete took part in the 4x400m relay at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
His visit was part of a wider Youth Sport Trust project where Olympians are visiting schools across the UK to inspire the next generation. During the session he took pupils through a warm-up and stretch before showing them how to do a crouch start from the running blocks. They quizzed him on his career, diet and why he feels sport is so important.
