Arrows Rugby want more girls to take up the sport in Torfaen. They train twice a week and coach girls from six to 17.
Today they hosted a festival at Usk RFC for teams aged from under 8s to under 14s. Bev Hurley, the hub lead for Arrows Rugby, wants to reassure new players that it’s a “very skilful” game and you don’t need to buy any new kit to train. They will loan you kit to get you started in the sport.
