MSA Cwmbran Muay Thai has moved to a new gym in the town. The martial arts club now uses the same space as Torfaen Warriors Amateur Boxing Club.
The two clubs have moved into the old sports hall by Cheeky Monkeys and Building Blocks Nursery (both those businesses are open as usual).
Neil Heard, who runs MSA [Master Sken Academy] Cwmbran Muay Thai, said: “I know all my students have been really excited to get on board with this [the new gym] and I think it’s just going to grow. I’m able to start a children’s class.
“It will be [every Tuesday and Thursday) 6pm to 6.45pm and then we’ll do a seniors’ class from 7pm to 8.15pm. When I say children’s class it’s for six to 13-year-olds.
“I’ll be running fighters’ classes on Saturday afternoons so there is room for growth on the fighting side for everyone.
“We’ve got a good solid grading system that everyone can work through.”
