Welsh Water has 26 graduate opportunities for 2025 across a variety of career paths.

It wants to find new talent to start a two-year programme in areas including finance, IT, management, engineering, science and quantity surveying.

Around 100 graduates have completed the programme since it started in 2009 and the not-for-profit company says many of those people are still with them.

Former graduate, Simon George, who has now moved on to become Head of Customer Metering at the company, said: “The support at Welsh Water is second to none. I’ve worked with many great managers and mentors, and I’ve also learnt a lot from colleagues who have expert knowledge, and I’m very thankful for the help I’ve had and still get.

“The graduate scheme gave me so much experience that I may not have been able to get without it. It’s also helped me learn what I like to do; as well as what I don’t.”

Annette Mason, head of talent and inclusivity, said: “We offer a wide range of graduate programmes designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to kick-start your career in an exciting and diverse industry. As head of talent, I am proud to see our graduate programme, grow from strength to strength.

“We have a wealth of talent coming into the organisation and it is fantastic to see these individual’s flourish. If you are a forward thinking, innovative graduate who wants to make a difference to people and to the environment we would love to hear from you”
