Around 800 people took part in the Bubble Dash event in Cwmbran this evening to raise money for St David’s Hospice Care.
Children and adults walked, jogged or ran around Northfields and Southfields after being soaked by a foam cannon and covered in brightly coloured powder paint. In the 45 minutes before the start the entrants were entertained by DJ Daryll Barnby. Families had fun throwing power paint over each other before they were called over for the warm-up by a fitness instructor. The runners then moved into the start zone and DJ Barnby began the countdown from ten. A large cannon blasted the runners as they crossed the start line.
