“WHY STAND.
“Governments often lose sight of the people who elected them, straying from their original commitments and introducing policies that serve their own interests than those of the country.
“As an independent candidate , I am not bound by party constraints.
“My sole focus is driving positive change for our community, committing to be a strong independent voice, one that listens, takes action and delivers real outcomes for our area.
“While Torfaen is traditionally Labor lead many more independent representatives like myself are making an impact, ensuring that local voices are heard within the local council.
“Together we can create a better future for our communities.
“Having lived in the community my entire life, i hold a deep connection of its unique needs and better understanding of local issues.
“This knowledge is key ,plus I believe my career journey has provided me with a wealth of experience across diverse sectors.
“From serving in the RAF to working in retail, education, community support ,foster service and self employment each role has shaped my perspective and strengthened my ability to understand and address real life challenges
“Theses experiences have not only shaped who I am but have also reinforced my commitment to fairness ,practical solutions and ensuring every voice in our community is heard and valued.
“Whilst out canvassing I have met all walks of life, spent time with fellow veterans sharing stories and listening to the wisdom of those that have seen and done it all ,always a privilege.
“I’ve been welcomed by friends and also faced some tough questions from voters exactly how it should be.
“Democracy is about conversation and I’m here to listen, learn and support.”
