Residents are being invited to enjoy a warm welcome, a free hot drink, and a freshly made pancake as Fairhill Methodist Church prepares to mark Pancake Day with a community event next week.
The church will be opening its doors on Tuesday 1th February, welcoming visitors between 10am and 1.30pm, with pancakes being served from 11am until 1pm.
As well as food and refreshments, the event will offer activities for visitors to enjoy, alongside free WiFi, making it a relaxed space for people to drop in, meet others, and spend time in the community.
Organisers say children are welcome, and the venue is fully accessible. A bus stop is also located directly outside the church, making it easy for local people to attend.
