Forgehammer CIC in Cwmbran is welcoming residents back for another friendly afternoon of Befriending Bingo, with the next session taking place on Thursday 29 January from 1pm to 3pm.
The popular community event offers much more than a few games of bingo. Visitors can enjoy a chat, a cuppa and a relaxed lunch, making it an ideal outing for anyone looking for company or a warm, welcoming space.
Bingo tickets cost 50p, with a maximum of six books per player. Lunch is available for £2.50, which includes a hot drink, biscuits, cup‑a‑soup and sandwiches.
Organisers say no one should feel worried about attending alone. Forgeside’s team of volunteers – affectionately known as “volunTEAers” – will be on hand throughout the afternoon to make sure everyone feels comfortable and included.
