Fab free summer holiday event for children. Bois y Bryn , the Cwmbran-based sea shanty crew, are running fun sessions in two Torfaen libraries for all the family.
Malcolm Gough, from Bois y Bryn, said: “This is something we really enjoy doing. It’s a workshop where we give out words to all attending and teach them to sing several songs then let them sing them together.
“It’s enjoyable for everyone and we give out badges and pirate flags to the children.
“If any of the audience fancies forming their own crew, we will help them as much as we can! If they make enough progress by next May, we will add them to our festival in Newport City Centre. It’s really nice for us to see everyone enjoying themselves.”
