Residents looking to grow their own vegetables or flowers – and enjoy some company while they do it – are being invited to join a weekly gardening group at Fairhill Methodist Church in Cwmbran.
The church runs the Connexions Community Garden, offering raised beds for anyone who wants to get involved.
The group meets every Wednesday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, giving people the chance to tend their plots, learn new skills and enjoy a cuppa and a chat with others in the community.
