A Cwmbran couple were interviewed by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning. Jessica Clark has Dissociative Identity Disorder which means her daily life can be taken over by one of her four other personalities.
The 22 year-old was supported by her fiancee Gareth, aged 23, during their TV appearance on Thursday 26 September.
She talked about her other personalities- bisexual Jamie, his buddhist brother Jake, gay anorexic Eddie or ten-year-old Oliver. The full interview can be seen on the ITV Player where the couple talk about what it’s like living with multiple personalities.
Gareth, a former Fairwater High School pupil, told Cwmbran Life: “It felt absolutely incredible not just for the experience of being on morning TV and meeting celebrities but to have that much publicity put on Jess’ condition was brilliant.”
Jessica tells Phillip and Holly how she has grown up with the condition and what it is “like to have five people living in one brain”.
Gareth talks about he has got to know the different personalities during their seven-year relationship.
