Gwent Police have announced that Cwmbran Police Station will be closed to the public from 30 April to 11 May while essential building work takes place.
A social media post said that officers will still be on duty throughout the closure, and residents can continue to get support when they need it. Non‑emergency enquiries can be made via the Gwent Police website or by calling 101, while 999 should be used in an emergency.
During this period, the nearest open police enquiry counters will be:
- Newport Central Police Station: 8am–6pm
- Blackwood Police Station: 9am–5pm
The force apologised for any inconvenience and thanked the public for their understanding while the work is carried out.
