Cwmbran stream bursts its banks and turns into a river gushing through two subways. Brilliant video from CoStar

Staff at CoStar filmed these two clips of the stream running alongside the Threepenny Bit in Cwmbran after yesterday’s downpour.

They show how the torrent of water led to the Dowlais Brook overflowing and flooding the two nearby subways.

One person described it looking like the river in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
