A CHRISTMAS decorations factory wants to extend its popular factory shop at its Cwmbran base.
Festive Productions Ltd opens its warehouse, at Ty Coch Way in Llantarnam, to the public every autumn in the run up to Christmas.
The decorations supplier, that was established in 1983, last year also sold Halloween decorations from its pop up shop which the firm says attracts customers from all over South Wales.
It has asked Torfaen Borough Council’s planning department to approve the change of use of a small 636 square metre area of the giant warehouse for use as an extension to the shop.
The firm started work on converting the warehouse at the start of this month.
The site already has a large car park and according to information submitted by the firm there will be no increase in employment.
