Cwmbran’s Julie Nelson set up a catering business earlier this year after being made redundant. In just a few months she has sold out her first Supper Club and started producing her own unique lemon curd. This is in addition to making the most of local food suppliers to use her culinary skills to cater for private parties and corporate events.
She is behind the area’s first Supper Club and has registered on this website where you can find your ‘local underground restaurant’.
This Saturday night sees The Bush Inn in Upper Cwmbran host the second and now sold out evening of fine dining that Julie has organised.

She wrote on her blog a few days ago that she is hunting out gardeners and allotment owners to help with a shortage of locally grown carrots and broad beans for Saturday night. Already one Cwmbran resident has given her some produce from his garden.
Follow her on twitter at www.twitter.com/raspberrycater to find out details of the next supper club.
