A flotilla of boats will set off from Pontymoile Basin on Sunday 25 August at around 12pm and arrive at Five Locks in Cwmbran at about 1.15pm.
Entertainment starts at Pontymoile from 10.30am and includes Cwmbran & District Pipes and Drums, and Welsh folk dancers.
Singer Travis George will perform at Five Locks at around 1.30pm after arriving on a boat.
The boats will leave the basin at around 2.30pm (ish) and moor at The Open Hearth pub for judging. There will be more entertainment at the pub.

- 12pm The flotilla of boats leaves for Five Locks with Travis George in the lead boat.
- 1.15pm First boat arrives with Travis George
- 1.30pm Travis sings for the canal community from the lawn of Lock Cottage hosted by Lorraine Edmunds & Dave Edmunds.
- 2.30pm All the boats leave for The Open Hearth to be judged by Travis George and Kate Noyes
- 5pm Competition Winners announced
- 5.30 Raffle is drawn
Raffle tickets are available on the day from 12.30pm to 5pm at The Open Hearth.
If you walk along the towpath following the boats please be careful on the narrow towpath as it’s expected to be busy.
