Thirsty gig-goers at this year’s Crow Fest will get drinks using tokens from a marquee with pouring stations and dedicated servers for a speedier service.
The bars are being run by Glambars- who have served drinks at events including Glamorgan Cricket, GlastonBARRY Tribute Festival and the Guinness fan zone at Wales’rugby matches.
Festival goers at the all-day family-friendly music festival at Cwmbran Stadium on Saturday 18 July will need to buy tokens from a booth to ‘pay’ at the bars, reducing the queuing time and speeding up service.
Prices
Drink tokens are £3.20 each or £30 for 10 tokens, with soft drinks costing one token and alcoholic beverages requiring two tokens.
Matt Blumberg, from Glambars, said: “We’ve found that this significantly reduces queues and speeds up the transaction between the bar staff and customers.”
The bar will be set up in a marquee, with pouring stations and dedicated servers to speed up service.
A variety of drinks will be available for purchase at the main bar, including: Welsh Lager, Apples Cider, FFresh IPA, Canned Wine, Vodka, Rum, Gin, Pepsi Max, 7up and Water.
A Guinness bar will also be on the site serving Guinness, flavoured gins and soft drinks.
Matt said: “We expect great quality products as standard, but speed of service is also a priority for us. We will endeavour to have no queues at all at Crowfest and hope the event will be a great success for everyone involved. We can’t wait to see you there.”
