Guns 2 Roses are returning to Wales this weekend to play at Newport’s new live music venue.
The Guns N’ Roses tribute band was started by Cwmbran man Gavin Felvus in 2004 and they have performed at venues across the world to crowds of up to 100,000.
Fans can watch them at Newport’s 500-person capacity Corn Exchange on the city’s High Street on Saturday 27 April.
It’s almost a year to the day since Gavin and Guns 2 Roses played to a sell-out crowd at Cwmbran’s Congress Theatre.
Gavin told Cwmbran Life: “I’m thrilled to be part of the newest venue in Newport. I’m told I’ll be the first person from Cwmbran to perform there. We played the likes of TJ’s in the early days and later Neon but it’s good to be part of a new venture that should be our new base outside of Cardiff for future South Wales shows.
“Once again this falls on my birthday weekend so a perfect excuse to come to Wales from London once again.”
Doors open at 7pm. It’s a 16+ event. Nirvana Tribute Nirvanah open the show.
