The Star Search runner-up
Shirley-Marie Davis, 32, from Taunton was the runner-up with a cracking performance of I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.
Playing Bingo
After Sarah was announced the winner I had the chance of playing bingo along with the 100s of others in the club. Dabber in hand I tried my best to get a line, two lines or full house. It was great fun but I didn’t win.
The size of the club surprised me. It is like the Tardis. You walk down the narrow reception area, sign in as a member (free) and then head up an escalator. The room is huge. There is a lovely social atmosphere and I enjoyed seeing so many people getting together for a chat and a game of bingo.
The other three Star Search finalists
Sammy-Jade Howarth, aged 25, from Cwmbran works as a dental nurse and sang People Help The People by Birdy.
Sabrina Wells, aged 27, from Taunton, is the sister of runner-up Shirley-Marie Davis. She sang Don’t You Remember by Adele.
Megan Jarvis is a 21 year old student from Devonport and sang Lay me Down by Sam Smith.
