The Hungry Fork is a new family-run food business opening in Cwmbran town centre tomorrow.

Mother and daughter Nicole and Rose Seaward are the team behind it and will sell “healthy-style food” including brisket baguettes, burritos, pasta, pittas, salads and jacket potatoes.

I popped in to meet them in the Marketplace this morning to see how final preparations were going before they start serving customers on Saturday 1 March 2025.

Nicole said: “We’ve had this idea for a while but then we just thought after Christmas ‘that’s it, just get it done’. But we’ve always had the idea of starting up like a healthy food business rather than anything else.

“It’s family-run. It’s been a long time coming. We’ve always worked in catering so it’s just a case of starting our new business rather than working for someone else.”

The Hungry Fork will be open from Monday to Saturday and serve breakfasts, lunches, meals and snacks throughout the day.

The pair can also do buffets for events, parties and celebrations. Give them a call on +44 7350 716709.
