A new children’s soft play centre is opening in Cwmbran town centre.
Torfaen Council has given planning permission for an office in the centre to be turned into a children’s soft play centre.
The location is 19 The Parade and the office used to be Cwmbran IT Centre. The application was for: “Change of use from offices to children’s soft play, gaming and play room with ancillary cafe.”
Permission was given this week with a condition around the opening hours and that the cafe must only be ‘an ancillary facility’ for the centre.
The application says that four full-time and four part-time jobs will be created. No alterations are proposed to the unit.
It can open on Mondays – Saturdays from 10am to 8pm and on Sundays and Bank Holidays from 10am to 4pm.
