Parents and carers in Torfaen are being invited to an event in September to learn more about a six-week programme to support families with children aged 0–5.
Torfaen Early Years will host the first session of ‘Discover Your Child’s World’ at Cwmbran Integrated Children’s Centre (next to Nant Celyn Primary School) on Thursday 17 September, from 5pm to 7pm. The session aims to give families practical advice, reassurance and guidance.
The programme will cover a range of topics commonly raised by parents of young children, including tricky behaviour, play, sensory difficulties, sleep, early language and wellbeing.
Staff will be on hand to explain how the sessions work and how families can take part.
The event is open to any parent or carer looking for support or information about their child’s development. Torfaen Early Years says the programme has been designed to help families understand their child’s world and build confidence during the early years.
