These photos show the progress of the new homes being built on the site of a former old office block and derelict land in Old Cwmbran.

Bron Afon Community Housing is building the block on Victoria Street. Fencing has started to be removed from the front of some of the homes as they near completion.

Thirteen homes are being built, two two-bed flats and 11 one-bed flats all for rent.

Bron Afon decided against using fossil fuels to heat them and are fitting each flat with infra-red electric panel heating and an air source hot water cylinder.
