three people stood by boxes of knitted items
School headteacher Natalie Richards, Pastor Peter Cho from Tabernacle Baptist Church, and Pritti Davies, business teacher at Croesyceiliog School

Several boxes of items knitted by staff and parents at Croesyceiliog School are heading to Poland to help Ukraine refugees.

The volunteers knitted and crocheted:

  • 20 scarves
  • 22 baby/child blankets
  • 6 adult hats
  • 9 baby hat/cardigan mittens

Some items are being donated to refugees in Gwent. Pastor Peter Cho, from Tabernacle Baptist Church in Newbridge, has asked the school to collect waterproof coats and warm clothing during November.
