Two of Torfaen’s historic landmarks will open their doors to the public for a few hours on Bank Holiday Monday.
Visitors are welcome to go inside the the Shell Grotto and enjoy the views from the top of the Folly Tower on Monday 26 August 2024.
Volunteers from the Friends of Pontypool Park will open the attractions from 11am to 3pm.
They have reminded people that: “The route between the two sites goes through farm land. Please keep your dogs on leads and wear sturdy footwear. The folly has a small car park that will be open from 11am but closed at 2pm, cars there after 2pm will be at risk of being locked in.”
