This press release appeared on the Gwent Police website today. Six cars in Cwmbran were broken into over the weekend. A puppet theatre was taken from one of the cars.
Gwent Police is appealing for information following six incidents where vehicles have been entered in the Cwmbran area.
All incidents were reported to have occurred overnight from 3rd to 4th March.
A silver Lexus, a white Mercedes and a silver Fiat Bravo were entered on Pant Yr Heol Close in Henllys. They were all left insecure.
A grey RAC sat nav was stolen from the Mercedes and a Tom Tom sat nav was stolen from the Fiat.
An insecure black Ford Fiesta was entered on Campion Close, Henllys, nothing was stolen.
A black Renault Laguna was entered on Pensarn Way, Henllys. The vehicle was insecure and nothing was stolen.
A Skoda saloon car was broken into on Hafod Court Road, Thornhill. A puppet theatre and a Binatone sat nav were stolen.
All the incidents are under investigation and officers appeal to anyone with information to call them on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Residents are reminded to ensure they leave their vehicles locked and secure when unattended and do not leave valuables on display.
