Residents are being invited to enjoy an afternoon of tea, cake and good company at a fundraising event in aid of St David’s Hospice Care later this month.
Jean’s Big Welsh Brew will take place on Saturday 21 March, from 2.30pm to 4pm, at St Mary’s Church, Church Close, Cwmbran. The event is part of a wider campaign encouraging communities across Wales to host friendly get‑togethers to raise money for the hospice charity.
Visitors can drop in for a cuppa and a slice of cake, with all donations helping St David’s Hospice Care continue its work supporting patients and families across the region.
Anyone who cannot attend but still wishes to contribute can donate on the event’s fundraising page.
