Entries are open for the Torfaen Santa Run. The event raises money for Torfaen Age Concern to help older people who are lonely during the winter.

The run is Sunday 5 December 2021 and takes place in Pontypool Park. Registration is from 11.15 am and the race starts 12 pm.

All entrants will receive a medal and goody bag.

A spokesperson for Torfaen Age Concern said: “You will join hundreds of people in their best festive fancy dress to run, jog or walk 5km/ 2km around Pontypool Park. The route consists of one or two laps of the already measured Pontypool Parkrun route. Festive entertainment will be provided around the route. The course is suitable for dogs and buggies.”
