“Revive the tradition, your parents did it, your grandparents did it, even Cistercian monks did it”
The annual Good Friday walk up to Twmbarlwm sets off from Greenmeadow Community Farm car park at 10am. It is being led by the Ancient Cwmbran Society and everyone is welcome.
The photos in this post are from this Matt Rosser Flickr set from last year’s walk. Have a nose as there are a few I haven’t used.
Make sure your wear suitable clothes for the weather and bring a packed lunch as the plan is to have a picnic and enjoy the amazing views.
The walkers will return at 4pm to 5pm. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Cymdeithas Twmbarlwm Society will be walking from the other direction and leaving from Pontymister Bridge, Fields Road at 10.30am.
