A tattoo artist from Cwmbran is used to spending hours with a needle painstakingly drawing on her customers’ bodies.
But Lauren Coombes’ latest creation involved a cocktail stick instead of a needle. One of her friends picked up a pumpkin for £3.99 from Aldi Pontypool and she spent three hours carving this tribute to the late Queen.
She said: “I draw myself a guide on my iPad, then use it as a reference and map it out on the pumpkin with little pin holes, then just carve with a Stanley knife and to be honest, anything useful I can find like cocktail sticks, a compass and pencils.”
