The Queen of Scots steam locomotive 60163 Tornado attracted a crowd of fans at Cwmbran train station today (13 November 2021)
The train began its journey at Bristol and stopped in Cwmbran on its way to Chester. Passengers in first class were tucking into breakfast during their stop in the town.
George Headworth, from Newport, wheeled his 5-inch gauge miniature of the 60163 Tornado onto platform 1. The model took him four years to build so he brought it today to get a photo with the full-size train. The train stopped for about ten mins while passengers boarded.
