Locals at the Mount Pleasant pub in Old Cwmbran thought a time machine had taken them into the future.
Clint, the landlord, gave them a surprise by putting up the Christmas decorations.
It is part of a new regular theme week. On Thursday a Christmas quiz was held and people eating food have had an extra choice on the menu…a free Christmas pudding.
If you fancy pulling a cracker and popping on a Christmas hat make sure you visit before the end of next week as the decorations will be coming down.
