The Cwmbran man who leads the world’s best Guns N’ Roses tribute band is bringing his act to a local pub this Friday. Gavin Felvus, a former Fairwater High School pupil, has been performing on stage as Axl Rose since setting up Guns 2 Roses in 2002. He has performed with members of the original and current Guns N’ Roses.
In February Gavin packed his bags and took his act to America where he played a few shows in and around Hollywood. During one show he was on stage with Steel Panther at the House of Blues. Scroll down to see a video. He returns to Los Angeles on 8 April.
This Friday at 9pm you can watch Guns 2 Roses play in the Six in Hand pub in Croesyceiliog. A Facebook event page has been set up where you can get more details.
The drummer for this week’s gig is Ben Dover (also known as Simon Honey), the former adult film star.
Here is a video of of Gavin with Steel Panther in Hollywood last month.
