Experts from Google are running a free event in Torfaen to help owners and staff at small businesses increase their digital skills.

This event has been organised in partnership with Torfaen MP Nick Thomas-Symonds who will attend the event to learn more about how enhancing digital skills can help small businesses to grow, improve career prospects, and ensure everyone is able to make the most of the digital economy. This is one of 30 in-person digital skills training events taking place across the country in 2023  to help drive growth across the UK.

Nick Thomas-Symonds, MP for Torfaen, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Google to Torfaen, to host a Google Digital Garage event, on Friday 27 October. I am looking forward to meeting as many local businesses and residents as possible to find out more about how digital skills can benefit our businesses, entrepreneurs, and residents”.

The event is on Friday 27 October from 10am to 4pm at Pontypool ALC, Trosnant Street, Pontypool, Torfaen
