Cwmbran Shopping's New Faces

Cwmbran Shopping has announced seven new faces to represent it over the next year.

Ordinary shoppers ranging from eight to 55 years of age were selected after being spotted and selected as part of Cwmbran Shopping’s New Faces Campaign.

In a search that spanned over a month, hundreds of people were encouraged to apply after being spotted shopping at the centre. Many others applied directly via the centre’s Facebook page.

Michael Davies, Alydia Rose Jarman, Harriet Bradley, Holly Humphreys, Christopher Wilson, Samantha Yemm and Judith Poole have been chosen to represent the centre, after demonstrating a strong connection with Cwmbran and securing a high level of support on a Facebook voting app.

The chosen faces will front Cwmbran’s upcoming advertising, promotion and fashion campaigns, including the annual Christmas campaign.

Holly Humphreys, 21, from Garndiffaith in Pontypool, said: “I have been coming to the centre since I was a little girl and have great memories of shopping with my mum for new outfits. I am looking forward to modelling for the centre and to being given the star treatment.”

Grandmother, Judith Poole, 55, from Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran added: “I have always experimented with different styles and consider myself to be fashion conscious. I am pleased that I can show people that you don’t have to be a teenager to be stylish, and to inspire other women of a similar age.”

Paul Rich, Centre Manager at Cwmbran Shopping, said: “We originally had one ‘face’, but felt it was important to choose a group of people who represent as many of our customers as possible.

“Our chosen candidates all come from different backgrounds, but have great style and bags of confidence.”
