Cwmbran used to have its own postcards as you can see from this cracking set borrowed from a local collector who has been picking them up from over the years from flea markets. So if you were staying in Cwmbran what would you write on a postcard? This is what two ‘holidaymakers’ wrote.

“Weather lovely here and you can see what a pretty place it is like to live, in the top left hand corner see the mountain.”

“We came down on Thursday and have had lovely weather so far.”
